You look like you have it all together — and you're exhausted by it.

If any of these feel familiar, you're exactly who this practice was built for.

The Exhausted Achiever You've hit every goal and still feel empty. Your perfectionism has been a survival response, and the goalpost keeps moving no matter how much you accomplish.
The "Strong Black Woman" You carry the weight for your children, your family, and your community — even when you're drowning. Because if you don't, who will?
Trauma You Haven't Named Yet Something happened — or kept happening — and you've been managing it, not healing from it. You are ready to stop outrunning your history.
Looking for Someone Who Gets It You need a therapist who understands how racism, systemic barriers, and lack of reciprocation shape mental health — someone where representation is foundational.
Navigating Motherhood & Transitions Whether it's perinatal mental health, postpartum struggles, or the psychiatric impacts of perimenopause, your body and mind are going through shifts you need support for.
Ready to Stop Performing You're tired of being the strong one. You want to just be — without armor, without earning your place in every room. You're ready for progress over perfection.

You don't have to have it together to start.
You just have to start.

A therapist who did the work herself.

Jennifer Deas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a clear focus: mental health care for Black women and women of color who have been left out of traditional healing spaces.

As a first-generation college student who navigated her own traumatic childhood, Jennifer once mistook her perfectionism for excellence. She thought she could outperform her history. It wasn't until she did her own inner healing that she realized the profound impact trauma had on her life—and that progress is greater than perfection.

"I know what it’s like to carry the load all on your own. I want to create a space where women can receive culturally responsive tools to build strong, healthy lives—because when women heal, we all benefit."

In addition to supporting her clients, Jennifer serves as a clinical supervisor, dedicated to mentoring and training the next generation of social workers to elevate the field.
